Vehicle Overview
Replacing the Cefiro line in Japan, the Teana was first launched in 2003 although our market had to wait until 2007 for this one. It slots below the Skyline in the line-up and is intended as a sedan companion of the Murano crossover.

Just like the model it replaced, it still wears the VQ engine but with 2.3 liters and although it lacks power, it comes alive when driven above 3,000rpm. With available power on tap, driving this one is a challenge and it is one quick car despite power deprivation.

Even if interior space is roomy for all occupants, the interior felt dated in its launch date since the plastic material felt old although the matte finish is fine enough.

What Should I Get
JK models get a 171hp 2.3 V6, six airbags, ABS brakes, reverse sensors, power mirrors with fold function, dual automatic air conditioning system, 5.8 inch monitor, alarm, and keyless entry. Going for the JM adds a back-up camera, xenon headlights, sun roof, power driver's seat, leather upholstery, power rear sunshade, 7 inch monitor, and intelligent keyless entry.

How Much Would It Cost Me
Since this vehicle sold in low numbers, parts availability is limited although maintaining one is somewhat on the higher side due to the V6 engine. A recall in June 2016 was issued for a possible airbag defect.
